Mike Thomas

Mike Thomas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and real estate. Currently serving as an Area Manager at D.R. Horton since June 2019, Mike oversees 10 communities and manages a team of 20 employees across Martin, Palm Beach, and Broward counties. Previously, as VP of Technology at Internet Realty Brokers from March 2002 to May 2019, Mike led a team of over 21 technology professionals, significantly enhancing service offerings and quadrupling the company's revenue within a year. Mike's earlier roles include Independent Energy Consultant for Unified Energy Group, Broker-Associate at Illustrated Properties Real Estate, and various consultancy positions focusing on network security at Ocwen Financial Corporation and Pratt & Whitney. Mike began a career in network systems at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Senior Network Systems Engineer. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Management at the University of Colorado Boulder.
