ABOUT THE ROLE:  We have a new position for Human Resources Administrator! In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the People team with a focus on end-to-end hiring processes by partnering with our internal Recruiter to attract and evaluate candidates and schedule interviews, including other administrative tasks. You will also run our Co-op program!

This is a hybrid role, and you will be expected to be on-site at our Burnaby, B.C. location at least three days per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage requisitions and job postings in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Prepare job postings for hiring manager review
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and hiring team debrief sessions
  • Effectively communicate with the Candidates, Recruiter, and Hiring Managers throughout the entire candidate journey
  • Maintain a database of job descriptions and ensure they are up to date
  • Administer the Co-op recruiting program which includes liaising with Hiring Managers and Universities, ensuring opportunities are posted, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, moving selected candidates through the hiring process, and processing offers
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of Career Fairs and attendance at local events
  • Ensure recruiting processes are SOC2 compliant
  • General HR administrative support as required in other areas of HR
  • Back up for HR Generalist on HRIS

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role and/or new to the HR field (new grad)
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential HR matters ethically and with tact and discretion
  • Proficient working knowledge of the Windows environment and experience with HRIS Systems, Excel, MS Word and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) a definite plus
