Qing Han

Qing Han is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Data Science and previously as a Research Scientist at DataVisor since September 2019, Qing specializes in machine learning and AI solutions for fraud detection. Prior to this role, Qing worked as a Sr. Process Engineer at Applied Materials (April 2013 - August 2019), focusing on R&D for selective dry etch products and optimizing process conditions for chipset performance. Qing's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained in 2012, along with an MS in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University. During the academic tenure, Qing contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, developing lab-on-chip medical devices, and Tsinghua University, researching protein folding and therapeutic protein drug development.
