Jorge Menendez

Jorge Menendez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jorge currently holds the position of Vice President of Service Operations and Regional Sales Director at Dabico Airport Solutions since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Xenel Industries Co. - SSOC as the Director of International Business Development from June 2021 to January 2023.

From 2011 to 2020, Jorge Menendez worked at thyssenkrupp Airport Solutions in various roles. Jorge served as the Regional Director for the Middle East & Asia from July 2019 to December 2020 and was responsible for project management, service operations, and sales activities. Jorge also held the position of Director of Services - Global Head of Services from April 2018 to July 2019, where they had global business responsibility for operation and maintenance services, led the implementation of unified processes and procedures, and oversaw sales and tendering activities. From November 2015 to March 2018, Jorge Menendez was the Head of Services - Middle East and Asia, where they focused on developing the service business in the region, managing key accounts, and promoting staff development. Before that, they were the Branch Manager and led the installation project and service contract at Hamad International Airport from April 2011 to November 2015.

Prior to their time at thyssenkrupp Airport Solutions, Jorge Menendez worked as a Project Manager at Keller, where they managed multiple civil construction projects from 2009 to 2011. Jorge also served as the Technical Director at Euroconsult Group from October 2004 to January 2009.

Jorge Menendez obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Geology from the Universitat d'Alacant, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In addition, they obtained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and in Managing Safely from IOSH in 2013.
