Joy Shapiro

Joy Shapiro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Joy served as the Director of Business Development at Dacon Corporation from 2016 to the present. Additionally, they held various leadership positions at IFMA Boston, including Immediate Past President from 2022 onwards, President from 2020 to 2022, Chapter President Elect from 2018 to 2020, and Vice President (Special Events) on the Board of Directors from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their roles at IFMA Boston, Joy worked as the Director of Business Development at STV from 2003 to 2016. Joy also served as the Marketing Manager at Healy Hudson Portugal Lda. from 2001 to 2003 and as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Ptech Inc. from 1998 to 2001.

Joy Shapiro attended the University of Rhode Island from 1994 to 1998. Joy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications, with a specialization in Public Relations.
