David began their career as a General Manager at Walmart, where they successfully managed a $40 million retail store with a staff of 300 associates. David was responsible for various aspects including budgeting, sales planning, and customer satisfaction. After their tenure at Walmart, they served as a General Manager at Best Buy, overseeing the construction and merchandising of a new concept store. Additionally, they held the role of Executive Recruiter at Protis Executive Innovations, where they developed relationships with retail clients and candidates, resulting in successful placements and high profitability. David then assumed the position of VP, District Sales Manager at Old National Bank / Charter One/ Citizens Bank, leading a large team and consistently exceeding sales targets. Following this, they became a Regional Manager at Midland States Bank, where they transformed the culture to a proactive, client-centric sales philosophy. More recently, they worked as a District General Agent at Colonial Life and currently serves as the Director of Customer Experience at Dacotah Bank, where they focus on building and implementing a world-class customer experience.

In 1981, they received a Certificate in Computer Programming from Ivy Tech Community College.
