Nancy Kappes has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on human resources and insurance sales. Nancy started their career as a Loan Assistant/CSR at Dacotah Bank in 1988 and then transitioned to the role of an Insurance Producer in 1990. In this position, they demonstrated advanced communication skills and was responsible for prospecting and closing sales of insurance products. Nancy joined Dacotah Banks, Inc in 1998 and served as the Director of Talent Management. In this role, they managed various areas of human resources, such as recruitment, employee relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, and training. Nancy also developed and implemented HR policies and procedures.
Nancy Kappes completed their secondary education at Lemmon High School, graduating in 1984. Nancy then pursued their higher education at Northern State University from 1984 to 1988, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Office Administration.
