Elijah ben Izzy

Elijah ben Izzy's work experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer at DAGWorks Inc., where they are currently working on a project to assist data practitioners. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Platform Engineer at Stitch Fix from 2019 to 2022, leading the design and management of their machine learning platform. During their time at Stitch Fix, they also wrote blog posts showcasing the team's work. Before joining Stitch Fix, Elijah was a Quantitative Software Engineer at Two Sigma from 2014 to 2019. Elijah also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University from 2012 to 2014, where they assisted in designing coursework and grading. Elijah gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Fog Creek Software in 2013, working on implementing new features for the Trello product. Prior to that, they were an Analytic Intern at the Northern California Community Loan Fund, evaluating the social impact of loans and presenting research to support business decisions. Elijah also had the opportunity to work as an Intern at the East Bay Regional Park District in 2011, analyzing user transactions and presenting findings to executives. Additionally, they worked as a Tutor at the Achieve Learning and Resource Center in 2011 and as an Explainer at the Exploratorium in 2010, where they demonstrated scientific concepts and conducted experiments.

From 2010 to 2014, Elijah ben Izzy attended Brown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics - Computer Science.
