Gerald Tropper

Gerald Tropper has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Chief Audit Executive at Daimler Truck AG since January 2023. Previously, Gerald held the position of Co-CFO and Senior Vice President at Beijing Foton Daimler Automotive, responsible for Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, and IT within the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Business Unit. Before that, Gerald was CFO of Daimler Truck China Ltd., where responsibilities included overseeing Finance and Controlling. Gerald's career at Daimler AG began in 1993, covering various roles including Director of Corporate Audit for Greater China and Senior Manager of Cross-Functional Audit, with foundational experience gained as an Apprentice Automobile Mechanic.
