James Munroe

Jim served as Branch Manager of Monroe Tractor for ten years in their Adams Center, NY location. In this role, Jim managed relationships in an agricultural community heavily influenced by dairy operations that spanned from northern New York to Maine. Previously, Jim served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years. During his tenure as a Marine Communications Officer, he led organizations as large as 300 Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers, managed Marine Program portfolios as large as $2.9 Billion, planned and installed robust communication infrastructures, and served in the software test and evaluation realm for the Department of Defense…an adventurous life that saw 43 countries, 3 years on a ship at sea, and 3 combat tours. Originally from a crop farm in the Finger Lakes region of New York state, Jim is a 1990 graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. In 1999, Jim received a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
