Jonty Hurwitz

Jonty Hurwitz has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. In 1997, they founded and served as CEO of Delve Software until 2005. Jonty then worked as a Creative Director at StatPro PLC from 2005 to 2007. In 2006, Hurwitz founded Mathematics of Self Ltd., where they worked as an artist and engineer until 2006. In 2007, they co-founded Wonga and served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2011. During the same year, they also founded The Separated Child Foundation, an organization that provides support to separated refugee children. From 2017 to the present, Hurwitz has been involved in various ventures, including serving as the Chairperson and Co-Founder of Claim Technology, as well as an Investor, Co-Founder, and Biggest Fan of Local Treasures. In 2018, they founded DAIZY as an AI Artist. Most recently, in 2023, they founded Sentient Art Collective as an NFT Artist and Founder.

Jonty Hurwitz obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Control Theory and Measurement Systems with honors at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. It is worth noting that Jonty Hurwitz holds a certification from the Royal Society of Sculptors, as a Member (MRSS), but the exact date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
