Christine F. is an experienced educator and professional in the fields of computer science, design innovation, and assistive technology. Currently serving as an Instructor of Computer Science at Dalhousie University since May 2023, Christine has also been self-employed as Tinker Tailor since March 2019, focusing on retailing electronic components and tutorials for the wearable technology community. Prior to this, Christine was the Specialism Leader for the Masters in Design Innovation and Interaction Design at The Glasgow School of Art, where a user-centered design course was developed to enhance students' understanding of mixed-methods research and real-world prototyping. Additional roles include Associate Lecturer at the University of York, Assistive Technology Advisor at The Wilberforce Trust, and various teaching positions across multiple institutions. Christine holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Media and Arts Technology from Queen Mary University of London, along with an MSc in Creative Technology, a PGCE, and a BSc in Information Technology.
