Tanya Anne Smith

Tanya Anne Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service and sales. Currently serving as a Presiding Judge at the Dallas County Elections Department since February 2022, Tanya coordinates election activities, oversees Election Day processes, and assists voters. Tanya has also held various roles within the Dallas County Elections Department, including Appointed Election Presiding Co-Judge and Early Voting Presiding Election Officer. Transitioning from a successful career in technology sales at companies such as XO Communications and McLeodUSA, Tanya has developed strong communication and client management skills. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of North Texas and a TESOL certification.
