Bailey Hoeppner is a Mechanical Engineering student at The University of Texas at Dallas, with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving on the DFR EV Packaging Team at Dallas Formula Racing, Bailey is focused on designing an Electric Vehicle for the 2025 FSAE EV competition. Previous positions include internships at NASA, where Bailey contributed to improved vacuum chamber testing and space suit technology. As President of the Student Chapter of ASME at UTD, Bailey organized outreach and fundraising initiatives, securing sponsorships from industry leaders. Additional experience includes conducting research on wind turbines and performing structural analysis at RMS Aerospace LLC. Notably, Bailey's innovative approach was evident as a Principal Investigator for a NASA proposal on a solar-powered wastewater system, showcasing strong leadership and technical skills throughout various collaborative projects.
