Carla M. Proctor

Carla M. Proctor, Ph.D., NCEC, RPED, LDT, CALT, has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Educational Diagnostician and Lead Dyslexia Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since January 2003. In addition, Carla is the owner of Family Educational Diagnostic Services, providing psychoeducational assessments and consultations focused on learning disabilities, dyslexia, giftedness, and developmental delays since January 2011. Carla also co-owns Classique Printers, a small business established in May 1987. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education and Administration from Texas Woman's University and multiple degrees from The University of Texas at Dallas, Carla has a solid academic foundation that supports her professional endeavors, including past board membership and speaker chair responsibilities with the Dallas Branch of the International Dyslexia Association from 2008 to 2014.
