Dallas Symphony Chorus
Michael Lysinger is an accomplished music educator and conductor with extensive experience in choral music. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty and Conductor of Meadows Chorale at SMU Meadows School of the Arts since August 2024, Michael also holds the position of Chorus Administrator for the Dallas Symphony Chorus since June 2019. Previous roles include Artist Liaison for the Santa Fe Desert Chorale from January 2020 to March 2023, and Choral Director for the Richardson Independent School District from July 2005 to June 2019, as well as the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District from August 1998 to June 2004. Michael holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a focus on Voice and Piano from Southwestern University, completed in 1989.
Dallas Symphony Chorus
The Dallas Symphony Chorus is the official vocal ensemble of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. This all-volunteer organization consists of members who devote their time, effort and considerable talent to regularly scheduled rehearsals and performances with the Dallas Symphony, as well as appearances in the greater Dallas metroplex, across the United States and with orchestras in venues around the world.
