Zak Buncik

Zak Buncik is an experienced basketball coach and player development specialist, currently serving as Assistant Basketball Coach and Player Development Coach for the Dallas Wings since January 2022. Buncik previously worked as a Self-Employed Player Development Coach from April 2018 to January 2022, and held various roles at the University of Texas at Arlington, including Assistant Men's Basketball Coach from August 2009 to March 2018, and Director of Basketball Operations from August 2005 to December 2008. Buncik's expertise includes on-the-floor coaching, recruiting, video editing, and game scouting. Educationally, Zak Buncik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Arlington between 2004 and 2007.
