Dallas Zoo
Tina Cloutier Barbour, PhD, currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Animal Care & Welfare at Dallas Zoo since September 2022 and holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Utah, also since September 2018. As a co-founder and co-director of the Tonkolili Chimpanzee Project since 2012, Tina Cloutier Barbour has demonstrated a commitment to conservation and animal welfare. Previous roles include Primate Curator and Curator of Conservation, Research & Chimpanzees at Lion Country Safari from January 2015 to September 2022, and Research Assistant at the University of Utah from 2010 to September 2022. Tina Cloutier Barbour earned a PhD in Evolutionary Ecology from the University of Utah and a Master’s Degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University between 2007 and 2010.
