Shafiqul Islam

Shafiqul Islam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Shafiqul started their career at the Damien Foundation Belgium, where they held positions as the TB & Leprosy Control Office, CBR Coordinator, and Project Director. In 2018, they joined Orbis International as a Project Manager, and then moved on to work at DASCOH Foundation as a Project Manager, focusing on primary health care and maternal and child health. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at the Bangladesh Diabetic Association (BADAS) as a Program Manager, handling program and logistic management, training, and coordination. Prior to that, they were a Program Specialist (M&E) at BADAS-USAID TB CARE II Project, responsible for project implementation, patient follow-up, and capacity building.

Shafiqul Islam pursued their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental Health and Occupational Diseases from the State University of Bangladesh during the academic years 2012-2013.
