Monika M. has over six years of experience in the Human Resources field. Monika began their career in 2015 as a Human Resources & Team Coordinator at Marsh & Parsons, where they were responsible for providing efficient and organized HR & admin support to the Property & Tenancy Managers, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the entire department. This included handling legal documents and the entire client database. In 2017, they moved to Martin & Co as a Marketing & Team Coordinator, where they managed and created marketing adverts for within the property industry, along with providing administrative support for the entire office and personal assistant duties to the Directors. Monika then joined Infor in 2018 as a Human Resources Administrator, where they acted as a Human Resources ambassador for the Vancouver Office and facilitated all new hire procedures. Later that year, Monika joined Creation Technologies as a People & Culture (HR) Generalist, where they were responsible for full-cycle recruitment, employee on-boarding practices, and implementing and administering employee policies. In 2019, they joined Shearwater Research as an HR & Corporate Services Manager and Human Resources Generalist, where they were responsible for creating and establishing the HR department, managing recruitment and selection processes, and advising and assisting management in employee relations issues. Most recently, in 2021, Monika joined Damon Motorcycles as their Head of People & Culture, where they are responsible for creating and establishing the HR department, implementing the roll out of a HRIS, policies & procedures, documentation, HR infrastructure, legal compliance, and leading a team of HR professionals.

Monika M. attended the University of Plymouth from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
