Caren Cummings

Caren Cummings has over four decades of experience in the field of web communications and management within healthcare institutions. Current work includes web consulting through Caren Cummings Web Consulting, established in August 2017. Cummings served 16 years as the Director of Interactive Communications at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where responsibilities included overseeing digital strategy and engagement. Prior roles encompass managing the web presence for CareGroup Hospitals and serving as Web Manager at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Early career experience as a Radiology Technologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital laid the foundation for a successful trajectory in healthcare communications. Cummings holds a BA in Educational Psychology with a focus on photography from Emerson College and a high school diploma from Lynbrook High School.
