Kate Mcdaniel is the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Kate has over 25 years of experience leading human resources functions in large, complex organizations. Prior to joining Dana-Farber, Kate was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Harvard Medical School, where they led all aspects of human resources for the top-ranked research-oriented medical school.Kate has also held senior HR leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and Haemonetics.

Kate is a strategic and innovative leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing HR programs that drive business results. Kate is passionate about building strong, inclusive cultures that attract, engage and develop diverse talent. Under Kate's leadership, Dana-Farber's HR team is focused on supporting the Institute's mission to provide compassionate patient care, conduct innovative research to improve the understanding and treatment of cancer, and train tomorrow's physician/researchers.

Kate Mcdaniel attended Le Moyne College and earned a BS in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations.
