Moira Sharkey

Moira Sharkey is a seasoned development professional currently serving as the Director of Principal Gifts at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since November 2025. With a strong background in fundraising and alumni relations, Moira has held various positions at esteemed institutions including the University of St Andrews as Senior Development Officer and Colorado State University, where roles spanned Fundraising Program Manager and Director of Alumni Relations. Additionally, Moira hosts the Distasteful Conversations Podcast, which amplifies survivor voices to combat Domestic Violence. Moira's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gettysburg College and a Master of Science in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Creighton University.
