Srestha Dasgupta, Ph.D., currently serves as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at both Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, focusing on the mechanisms and potential treatments for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in the Rosalind Segal Lab. Previously, Srestha worked at Rutgers University - Newark as a Post-Doctoral Associate and Graduate Student Researcher, where significant contributions included developing biomarker-based in vitro assays and identifying novel neurotrophin responses related to neurodegenerative diseases. Additional experience includes research at Guru Jambheshwar University, where Srestha pioneered eco-friendly biosynthesis methods for copper nanoparticles with biomedical applications, complemented by a summer internship at TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd., gaining valuable skills in in-vitro diagnostics. Srestha holds a PhD in Cell Biology and a Master's degree in Biology from Rutgers University, alongside a Master's in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's in Human Physiology from respective institutions.
