Gustav Johnson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in vehicle propulsion systems and controls. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for the Commercial Vehicle ePropulsion Platform at Dana Incorporated, Gustav Johnson leads the development of eAxles and eTransmissions. Previous roles include Chief System Engineer for Spicer Electrified Zero-8 eAxle Family, and various positions at AVL, where responsibilities ranged from rapid prototype control system development to emissions optimization. Gustav Johnson's engineering expertise extends to independent consulting in aircraft structural design and roles at Caterpillar Inc. and Ford Motor Company focused on diesel performance engineering. Holding both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Carnegie Mellon University respectively, Gustav Johnson combines technical acumen with a commitment to innovative engineering solutions.
