Sachin Desai

Sachin Desai is a seasoned manufacturing professional with extensive experience in the gears and transmission systems industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Manufacturing at Dana Incorporated since April 2017, Sachin possesses deep knowledge of gear assembly and has a proven track record in gear grinding, having achieved high-quality standards (DIN 4 & DIN 5) through hands-on training in Italy. Prior to Dana, Sachin worked at Oerlikon for five years, climbing from Assistant Manager to Deputy Manager, focusing on production activities and team management in grinding and machining centers. Sachin's career began at Fairfield Atlas Limited as a Junior Engineer, where Sachin oversaw production activities in the Grinding Department. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
