Torben Kvist

Torben Kvist is an experienced project manager and leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Project Chief at Dansk Gasteknisk Center a/s since April 2023. In this role, Torben is responsible for managing DGC's project portfolio while providing professional support to employees and ensuring integration into Evida's strategy. Previous experience includes a five-month tenure as Project Manager at Stiesdal and a long-standing position at Dansk Gasteknisk Center a/s, where Torben held roles from Project Manager to Project Chief over 16 years, managing significant projects related to gas and energy optimization. Torben has also contributed to various research and technical groups, including leading the Biomethane working group in GERG and representing Dansk Standard in gas quality standards development for biomethane. Torben holds an M.Sc. in Energy from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, complemented by a postdoctoral researcher role and a PhD focused on biomass gasification.
