Bent Jahns

Bent Jahns has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Bent worked at the Danish Red Cross as the Head of Department for Social Care and later as an Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for resident involvement, budget management, and ensuring smooth operations of the centers. Prior to that, they worked at IBIS Denmark as a Humanitarian Coordinator, Country Coordinator, and Program Coordinator, covering various countries and roles related to education in emergencies and program development. Bent also worked as a Program Manager at the Danish Refugee Council and held positions at IBIS Denmark as a Program Officer and Human Resource Officer for Africa. Their early career included working as an Associate Expert at UNDP, where they were responsible for project development, management, and capacity building.

Bent Jahns pursued their higher education at the University of Copenhagen, also known as Københavns Universitet. From 1983 to 1991, they attended the university and obtained a Master's Degree in History.
