Camilla Damlund Larsen

Camilla Damlund Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Camilla is currently serving as the Head of International Finance at the Danish Red Cross, starting in November 2022.

Prior to their current role, Larsen worked at the Danish Refugee Council / Dansk Flygtningehjælp from 2015 to 2022. During their time there, they held various positions, including Lead Finance Business Partner, Technical Advisor for International Finance, Commercial Contracts, and Consortia, and International Business Controller for the Horn of Africa region. In these roles, Larsen was responsible for financial management, strategy development, process implementation, and compliance across different regions and departments within the organization.

Before joining the Danish Refugee Council, Larsen worked as a Finance Specialist at Bispebjerg Hospital from 2014 to 2015, where they optimized financial processes after the implementation of SAP. Camilla also served as a Volunteer Team Leader for the Finance Team at KONO Business & Development from 2011 to 2014.

In addition, Larsen has experience as a Financial Consultant at Tribe Management Danmark A/S for a short-term contract in 2013, where they developed layouts in a new ERP system and cleaned up data for migration. Prior to that, they worked as an IT & Project Consultant and Financial Consultant at Visma Services Danmark A/S from 2006 to 2013. In these roles, Larsen managed projects, analyzed customer needs, implemented ERP/CRM systems, trained users, and developed training material.

Camilla Damlund Larsen's education history began in 2001 when they attended Køge Handelsskole. Camilla pursued a degree in HHx IBS until 2004.
