Head Of Banking at Danmarks Nationalbank

Jesper Mærsk has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jesper started their career at Danske Bank in 1987 as a Trainee and worked there until 1989. In 1989, they joined Danmarks Nationalbank as the Head of Banking Services, a position they held until June 2013. During their time at Danmarks Nationalbank, they also served as the Head of Banking starting from June 2013. In 1993, they briefly worked as a Technical Expert at the International Monetary Fund. From 1994 to 1997, they were a Financial Market Specialist at the European Central Bank.

Jesper Mærsk completed their education from 1990 to 1994 at Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD) with a focus on Finance, General. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Management at Finanssektorens Uddannelsescenter.
