Karen Brünnich Knudsen

Karen Brünnich Knudsen has extensive work experience in contract management and procurement. Karen Brünnich currently works at Danmarks Nationalbank as an IT Contract Manager and jurist. Prior to that, they held the role of Kontorchef, IT Contract Manager, and udbudsjurist at Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen from December 2016 to January 2022. Before that, they were a Senior IT Contract Manager and udbudsjurist at SKAT from March 2013 to November 2016. Karen also worked as a Legal Advisor for the Danish Lorry Road Pricing program at Skatteministeriet from November 2012 to February 2013. Before entering the public sector, they worked at COWI A/S as a Seniorspecialist, where they were responsible for tender processes according to EU procurement regulations. Karen's earlier experience includes roles at Danish Maritime Safety Administration (DaMSA), The National Rail Authority, Trafikstyrelsen, and Danish Immigration Service, where they gained expertise in procurement, contracting, and project management.

Karen Brünnich Knudsen attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Law degree in the field of Law.
