Andreas Sommer Schwartz

Andreas Sommer Schwartz has extensive experience in the energy trading industry, specifically in commercial business development and strategy. Andreas began their career at Danske Commodities in 2014 as a Financial Analyst before transitioning to roles such as Executive Assistant to the CFO and Senior Strategy Analyst. In these positions, Andreas was responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategies, assessing growth opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior management. Andreas also worked at Deloitte as an Associate in Financial Advisory Services, focusing on financial management advisory and risk management. Andreas returned to Danske Commodities in 2019 as the Head of Commercial Business Development, where they led a team responsible for identifying and developing new growth opportunities. In 2021, they assumed the role of Head of APAC Power Trading, overseeing the company's power trading activity in the Asia-Pacific region. Andreas's diverse experience and strategic expertise make him a valuable asset in the energy trading sector.

Andreas Sommer Schwartz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics at Aarhus University from 2008 to 2011. Andreas then pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance at the same university, which they completed from 2011 to 2013.

In 2012, Andreas attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as part of a Summer School program, where they focused on finance, specifically valuation and financial markets.
