Jacob Staub Olsen

Jacob Staub Olsen's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Constable at Forsvaret. In 2016, they joined Centrica Energy Trading as a Graduate, where they gained experience in trading and market dynamics in the European power market. Jacob Staub also worked as a Quantitative Trader, focusing on model building, pricing, hedging, and risk assessment.

In 2019, Jacob joined Danske Commodities as a Trader, and later became a Senior Trader, responsible for pricing and hedging financial structured products, customer management, and product development. Currently, they serve as the Manager and Head of European Renewables & Nordic Trading, overseeing risk management solutions in the European electricity system.

Throughout their career, Jacob has demonstrated expertise in trading, risk assessment, and market dynamics in the energy industry.

Jacob Staub Olsen completed their education with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics and Management from Aarhus University. Jacob Staub obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc.Oecon) degree from Aarhus University between 2011 and 2014. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science (MSc.Oecon) degree at the same institution from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their university education, Olsen attended Hansenberg Kolding from 2007 to 2009, where they completed a program known as HTX, focusing on Mathematics and Physics.
