Farrah Kalotay

Farrah Kalotay is currently the VP, Head of People & Culture at Dapper Labs. Prior to this, they served as the Global PeopleX at Robinhood from January 2022 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that created a modern financial services platform for everyone, regardless of their wealth, income or background.

Before Robinhood, Kalotay served as the Chief of Staff to CHRO + Director HR & Talent Acquisition at Nordstrom from June 2016 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of up to 70 people and held roles including Director of Talent Acquisition and Director of HR Business Partner. Farrah also served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief HR Officer, creating an HR Project Management Office and DEI team.

Kalotay has a proven track record in delivering results and improving efficiencies. During their time at Nordstrom, they designed an organizational structure and lean workflow in partnership with a C-suite leader and led reductions-in-force for a client group of over 20,000, resulting in $134.4MM in labor efficiencies. Farrah also directed the HR team’s people plan efforts, resulting in a 14% year-over-year increase in retention among corporate groups (over $12MM in savings annually).

Farrah Kalotay has a degree in business administration and management from Northwest University and a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Farrah also has an executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. In addition, they are certified as a facilitator by DDI | Development Dimensions International.
