Asif Rasool has a diverse work experience in various networking and telecommunications roles. Asif started their career in 2004 as a Network Engineer at Satcomm (Pvt.) Ltd. where they were responsible for testing, commissioning, and maintaining the RF network. Asif then worked at Karachi Steel Services as a Project Coordinator, coordinating BTS installation projects for Huawei Pakistan. Asif later joined Cyber Internet Service Provider (Pvt) Ltd. as a Coordinator, ensuring the deployment and integration of optical fiber cables met predefined standards. In 2009, they worked as a Project Engineer (Optical Fiber) at Reliable Security Systems.

In 2010, Asif joined Transworld Associates Pvt. Ltd. as an Engineering Associate, where they successfully completed a GPON pilot project and managed multiple projects to enhance and expand the network. Asif also provided maintenance, support, and trouble resolution for IP Transit customers. Asif then moved on to GCS Pvt. Limited as an Assistant Manager Projects, engaging in analysis, design, documentation, implementation, and support of client's network infrastructures.

In 2017, Asif joined Afiniti as a Senior Network Engineer GNOC (Assistant Manager).
