Sharood Zafar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Sharood started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Lahore University of Management Sciences and later worked as a Human Resources Officer. Sharood then joined Possibilities (Management Training & Consulting) as a Training Services Manager before moving on to Young Presidents' Organization as a Co-Chapter Administrator. Sharood then joined Coca-Cola CCI, where they held various HR positions including Human Resources Specialist - Learning & Development, HR Specialist - Talent Acquisition, HR Executive - Culture and Capability, and HR Executive - Operations Assignment. In their last role at Coca-Cola CCI, they served as Talent Manager. Currently, Sharood is working at Daraz as Head of Talent Management & Learning.

Sharood Zafar obtained a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology (BBIT) degree with honors in Marketing from the University of the Punjab from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, Sharood completed A-Levels at Beacon House School System from 2002 to 2004, and O-Levels at Lahore Grammar School from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Sharood has obtained certifications in Unconscious Bias: Fuel Diversity and Become a Better You from Udemy, Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program from LinkedIn, and Fighting Gender Bias at Work from LinkedIn, all in the year 2020.
