Mohamad Khalaily

Mohamad Khalaily serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Darca Schools since January 2024, following a brief tenure as the Director of Education Economics at the Authority for the Economic Development of Arab Society in late 2023. Khalaily previously led the National Emergency Center for Arab Society during the "Iron Blades" War, managing a team of 10 and numerous volunteers to enhance civil preparedness within the Arab community in Israel. From December 2018 to August 2023, Khalaily was the Head of the Water and Environmental Protection Team at the Budget Department, overseeing budgeting for multiple government authorities and initiating significant national and international projects. Earlier roles include serving as the Economist at the Education Team, where Khalaily managed Israel's national education budget and spearheaded major initiatives. Additional experience includes positions at the Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority, the Knesset, and Bishveel. Khalaily holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
