Mertcan Sinik

Mertcan Sinik is an experienced Plant Manager at Dardanel since August 2014, overseeing various production lines including wet pet food, frozen baby clams, and canned fish, while also managing maintenance operations and resource planning. Prior roles at Dardanel include Production Operations Manager and Production and Quality Manager, where expertise in IQF processes, cost analysis, quality control, and lean manufacturing was developed. Mertcan's background includes a position as Project Engineer at ProdAl Scarl, focusing on chocolate production optimization and food decontamination processes. Mertcan holds a Master's degree in Food Engineering from the University of Salerno and a Ph.D. from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, complemented by various internships in quality control and production across multiple food industry leaders.
