Ashwini Law

Ashwini Law has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role is with Darigold, where they have held multiple positions since 2018. Starting as Vice President of International Business, Ashwini successfully formulated the company's international go-to-market plan and transitioned the business to have direct access with end users across Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. They later served as Senior Vice President, Global Head Sales and Powder Portfolio before assuming their current role as Senior Vice President, Global Head Commodities.

Prior to Darigold, Ashwini worked at Louis Dreyfus Commodities as the Regional Head for Dairy. In this role, they were responsible for the profitability of the dairy trading business and led various initiatives to improve performance, including the execution of a $60M dairy processing plant investment.

Ashwini also held a leadership position at Olam Americas Inc as the Vice President of Dairy. They oversaw the North and Central America markets, achieving top and bottom-line targets through strategic pricing, new account acquisitions, and supplier relationship management. They also implemented cost-saving measures and inventory management improvements.

Before their tenure at Olam Americas Inc, Ashwini worked at Olam Intl Ltd as the General Manager of the Dairy Division. During this time, they focused on strategic sourcing, branding, and marketing, successfully launching consumer brands in multiple markets.

Ashwini's earlier career includes roles at Whirlpool Of India Ltd as a Marketing Manager and Nestle India Ltd as a Brand Manager and Sales Head. At Nestle, they led brand management strategies and achieved high market testing scores for the Maggi sauces portfolio. They also excelled in sales, particularly in the condensed milk category. Ashwini began their career at Royal Enfield Motors Ltd and Eicher Motors Limited in marketing and managerial roles.

Throughout their career, Ashwini Law has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic abilities, driving business growth and implementing innovative solutions.

Ashwini Law completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing at the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi, from 1995 to 1997. Before their higher education, Ashwini attended Kendriya Vidyalaya Sec 47 Chandigarh from 1986 to 1988 for their All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE). Additionally, from 1981 to 1985, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya KATNI for their primary and secondary education.
