Lauren Walter

Lauren Walter has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Laboratory Technician at Darigold in 2016. In this position, they conducted milk powder and cheese pathogen testing using Biorad's iQcheck PCR system. Lauren also performed pathogen testing on the Hygiena BAX PCR system. In 2018, they became a Laboratory Technician at Darigold, with responsibilities including testing for Salmonella spp., Listeria spp., and Cronobacter sakazakii.

Prior to their time at Darigold, Lauren worked at Washington State University, School of Food Science. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Research Intern, managing a 3-year experiment involving evaporative cooling water on tree fruit. Lauren Walter received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from Washington State University, where they attended from 2008 to 2013. In 2015, they obtained a certification in HAACP. The institution from which they obtained this certification is not specified.
