Johnathan Bangura Jr

Johnathan Bangura Jr is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security and technology, currently serving as a Principal Cyber Engineer and Cloud Specialist at Darktrace since January 2019. With a diverse background in cyber defense and engineering roles, Johnathan has previously held positions such as Cyber Engineer Team Lead and Senior Cyber Defense Engineer at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Johnathan began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at GivDapps and has significant experience in data analytics and customer support from roles at Albany Public Library and other internships. Johnathan holds a Master of Information Technology with a focus on Cyber Security and Networking from Virginia Tech, along with several graduate certificates in Cyber Security Management and Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with concentrations in Cyber Security and Data Analytics from the University at Albany.
