Kathy Giddings

Kathy is a graduate of Stearns High School in Millinocket. She attended the University of Maine and earned an associate's degree in business management.

Kathy began working for Maine Course Hospitality Group and Ground Round IOC and remained there for 21 years. During that time Kathy managed the Muddy Rudder in Brewer while also travelling all over the US as Ground Rounds Front of House lead trainer for new restaurant openings. Due to a change in their business plan the Muddy Rudder was sold. Kathy continued to work with Ground Round IOC on new restaurant openings, but realized being away for over a month was too much for her family. She accepted another similar position locally but was dissatisfied with their level of commitment to customer and employee satisfaction. Her husband has worked with Geoff Johnson, General Manager of Darling's Honda Nissan, over the years on some building projects so when Geoff told her husband he wanted her to call Kathy says she laughed at the thought of selling cars, but said why not. The rest is history. She says it's nice to be working for a company that makes its customers a priority.
