Mike Dumond

Mike is a graduate of Old Town High School and he attended Eastern Maine Community College. After school he went to work in the automotive business at a local parts store. His passion for cooking took him from the parts business into the restaurant business. Mike was a sous chef for 11 years and during this time he met and worked with his soon to be wife. Eventually getting back into the automotive industry Mike gained experience as an outside sales person as well as a service writer.

Mike had an opportunity to meet Jay Darling one day when he was working on a crew that was installing a dock at Jay's camp. He was impressed that Jay took the time to be there and to help. When a job opening was posted for a team service manager at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo he applied. And are happy to have Mike on the team and with all of his experience he know the service customers are being well taken care of!
