Stefanie Tompkins

Stefanie Tompkins serves as the Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and holds the position of Advisory Board Member at the Payne Institute for Public Policy. Additionally, Stefanie is the Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer at the Colorado School of Mines and a member of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board. Stefanie also provides advisory services to X, the moonshot factory. Educationally, Stefanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geology/Earth Science from Princeton University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology from Brown University.
