Lauren Muscott

Associate Community Organizer, BREAD Organization at The Direct Action & Research Training (DART) Center

Lauren Muscott's work experience includes being an Associate Community Organizer for the BREAD Organization at The Direct Action & Research Training (DART) Center, starting in January 2021. In this role, Lauren worked with a network of 41 congregations in Columbus, OH to pursue justice and hold elected officials accountable. Prior to this, Lauren served as the Managing Editor for Security Studies at The Ohio State University from May 2017 to January 2021. Their responsibilities included overseeing the editorial process for the political science journal.

Lauren Muscott received their B.A., Highest Honors, from Oberlin College, where they studied Politics from 2009 to 2013. Lauren later pursued their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in International Relations and Affairs at The Ohio State University from 2014 to 2020.
