Bill McKeeman is a seasoned academic and engineer with extensive experience in programming languages and compilers. Currently serving as a Visiting Research Scholar at Dartmouth College since 1999, McKeeman has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in these subjects. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Engineering Fellow at Tufts University and a Fellow at MathWorks, focusing on language development. McKeeman has held significant positions at Compaq/HP/Digital Equipment and Digital Equipment Corporation as a Senior Consulting Engineer, specializing in compiler implementation. Also, McKeeman has been a Visiting Professor at Harvard University and a Professor at the Wang Institute of Graduate Studies, where McKeeman contributed to the development of a Master of Software Engineering program. Early in the career, McKeeman held faculty positions at UC Santa Cruz and Stanford University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, an MA in Math from The George Washington University, and an AB in Math from the University of California, Berkeley, along with completing flight training at U.S. Navy Flight School.
