Susan M. Finegan

Susan M. Finegan is a trustee at Dartmouth College. Susan previously worked as a member (partner) in the litigation section at Mintz Levin from September 1993 to January 2003. In this role, they served as legal director and interim executive director, overseeing free statewide civil legal services to sexual assault survivors and providing training to legal aid attorneys nationally. From January 2003 to December 2006, they served as legal director at the Victim Rights Law Center. In this role, they again served as legal director and interim executive director, overseeing free statewide civil legal services to sexual assault survivors and providing training to legal aid attorneys nationally. Prior to their work in these roles, they served as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court from September 1992 to September 1993 and for the United States District Court from September 1991 to September 1992.

Susan M. Finegan received their Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston College Law School and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Dartmouth College.
