Chris Ejeh has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Oritseweyinmi (Chris) is currently working as a Software Engineer at Dash Hudson since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at REDspace Inc. from 2021 to 2022, where they worked on a project for Nickelodeon Animation Studio, utilizing Next.js and Typescript. Oritseweyinmi (Chris) also has experience as a Frontend Developer, creating interactive UI and integrating databases using React Native framework and Expo CLI.
Before transitioning into software engineering, Chris worked as a Bartender at Dalhousie Student Union - TRoom Bar, where they provided quality customer service and ensured a safe drinking environment. Oritseweyinmi (Chris) also had a co-op role at Hydro One as a Telecom and Power system Engineering Co-op Student, where they worked on several major Tele-Protection projects in Ontario, designing telecom services and creating schematics and diagrams.
Additionally, Chris has experience as an Electrical Engineer at Paper Excellence Group, where they led the design and installation phase of an instrumentation device and created Bill of Materials for Motor Control Systems in the mill. Oritseweyinmi (Chris) started their career as an Activities Representative at Dalhousie University: Gerard Residence, where they planned and organized recreational activities for students.
Oritseweyinmi (Chris) Ejeh obtained their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEng) degree from Dalhousie University. Additionally, they received a diploma in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University in May 2017. Oritseweyinmi (Chris) also holds certifications in Serving it Safe from Manitoba Tourism Education College (MTEC) in May 2015, WHMIS from the Ontario Ministry of Labour in March 2014, and Standard First Aid and CPR obtained in August 2016.
