Carlos Álvarez Barba's work experience includes the following:

1. DevOps Engineer at DasLab since 2022.

2. BigData & Cloud Architect at BABEL from July 2018 to August 2022. In this role, they designed and deployed BigData solutions on cloud environments and worked with the presales team.

3. DevOps at DatioBD from January 2018 to July 2018. Carlos was part of a newly formed team responsible for CI/CD implementation. Carlos'stasks included developing CI/CD infrastructure and logical workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, and Groovy.

4. Cloud & Big Data Systems role at KEEDIO from June 2015 to December 2017. Carlos worked to make Big Data solutions affordable and facilitated the implementation of Big Data solutions and infrastructures.

5. IT team leader of HPC Department at Centro Informático Científico de Andalucía (CICA) from January 2013 to June 2015. Carlos started as an intern and was later promoted. CICA is a government institution that provides support to the scientific community.

6. Work practices as a Sysadmin at Centro Informático Científico de Andalucía (CICA) from March 2012 to June 2012. Carlos interned at CICA and was promoted after six months.

Carlos Álvarez Barba attended IES Gonzalo Nazareno from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Certificate of Higher Education in IT Systems Management with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Carlos also obtained a certification in Continuous Integration with Jenkins from DevAcademy España in March 2018.
