Hien Trang has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the IT industry. They began their career in 1999 as a System Engineer at CCC NETWORKS, where they were responsible for the installation and networking of infrastructure for Intel's Data Center. In 2000, they joined Exodus Communications as an Internet System Engineer, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to firewalls, connectivity, and DNS. From 2001 to 2003, Hien worked as a Senior Internet System Engineer at CenturyLink Business for Enterprise, leading a team of engineers and handling escalations. In 2003, they founded OnDemand Website, where they managed a staff of 14 and provided internet marketing strategies and website development services to clients. In 2011, Hien served as a Customer Success Manager at Motorola Mobility, acting as a liaison between Verizon and the development team to resolve bug-related issues. In 2013, they joined Yes Marketing as the Director of the Technical Operations Center. Finally, in 2019, Hien became the VP of IT Operations at Data Axle.

Hien Trang attended San Jose State University from 1997 to 1999, studying Management Information Systems. Hien also attended De Anza College and completed an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts in 1997. Additionally, they attended Silicon Valley College and the Sun Education Center in 2001, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for those institutions.
